What are receipts, invoices, credit notes and balance statements?

Provider top-ups are not active on production yet. Existing monthly billing continues. Finance keeps each document with its underlying transaction; a receipt, invoice and balance statement do not charge the same money again.

A top-up payment receipt records the deposit added to your balance. A commission invoice records the actual job fee settled from that balance. A reporting adjustment invoice separates reviewed missing commission from a policy penalty. A refund receipt records a confirmed return to the original payment method; a credit note records a reviewed return of an earlier charge.

Closed-month balance statements show the opening balance, recorded movements, closing balance and reserved funds at month end. The monthly statement is a summary, not another payment request. Existing monthly-billed commissions remain separate from prepaid charges.

The business owner can open financial documents in Finance, print or save them as PDF, and download balance-statement activity as CSV. Issued records preserve their original issuer details and saved terms. Corrections create separate records. The prepared live flow supports a non-GST issuer. Demo records identify a test issuer and are not legal invoices. No GST is charged in the current flow.

Your invoice to the homeowner is still issued by your own business. A SaveTotal commission invoice is not your customer’s service invoice.

For the full rules, read the Provider Terms. Your saved booking and fee terms remain the record of your agreement.
